We are seeking an experienced Flooring Foreman to oversee and manage flooring installation projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and/or residential flooring installations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate flooring installation crews on-site.
- Oversee the installation of carpet, hardwood, tile, vinyl, epoxy, and other flooring systems.
- Ensure projects are completed according to blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Maintain job site organization, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Clients, and General Contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and provide hands-on assistance when needed.
- Track materials, labor, and progress to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Train and mentor team members to improve productivity and craftsmanship.
- 5 years of flooring installation experience, with 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
- Extensive knowledge of various flooring materials, installation techniques, and subfloor preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using flooring installation tools and equipment.
- OSHA certification and understanding of job site safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
