Job Overview : As an Onsite Freight Broker , you will be responsible for managing the movement of freight, building relationships with clients, and growing your book of business. Your focus will be on generating new leads, cultivating long-term relationships with shippers, and increasing revenue streams. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on customer service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Development : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand your book of business. Build and maintain relationships with shippers, freight carriers, and other partners.
- Freight Management : Coordinate the movement of freight, negotiate rates, and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Client Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support.
- Market Analysis : Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to develop effective strategies for growing your portfolio.
- Collaboration : Work closely with our operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of all shipments and a seamless experience for customers.
- Reporting and Metrics : Monitor your performance and regularly report on key business development metrics, including sales goals, customer retention, and revenue growth.
