Geotechnical Engineer Responsibilities

Geotechnical Engineer Responsibilities
- Prepare data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents relevant to a given property's soil profile
- Data reduction and organization to provide recommendations for foundation design
- On-site observation of excavation techniques and soil sampling
- Co-design multiple geotechnical engineering projects, concurrently
- Co-coordinate and execute various projects with geotechnical staff
- Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
- Projects range from large scale buildings, to bridges, to parking lots and soil investigations
- 4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Professional licensure is required (PE in NV)
- Project experience with bridges, roadways, retaining walls, slopes, and embankments, buildings and various methods of ground improvements
- $60,000 - 120,000 /year
