What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grain Facility Operations position at Gpac?
We are seeking a dedicated Grain Operations Technician to support day-to-day facility operations under the direction of the Location Manager. This role ensures efficient operations, safety compliance, and organized grain movement while maintaining facility standards.
Grain Operations Technician Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and organize grain operations, including scheduling and communication.
- Perform facility maintenance, repairs, and general housekeeping.
- Maintain accurate records for housekeeping and equipment maintenance using internal programs.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts.
- Manage rail operations (if applicable), including assisting at other locations as needed.
- Support seasonal demands, including extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts when required.
- Collaborate with other departments and locations as necessary.
- Obtain CDL with endorsements (employer may assist).
