Labor and Employment Associate

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Labor and Employment Associate to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview : The firm seeks a Labor & Employment Associate with 0-3 years of experience to join the office. This role involves representing healthcare clients in various labor and employment-related matters, including employment litigation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, and wage-and-hour cases.
- Provide counsel on employment policies and compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- Draft and review employment-related documents, including employee handbooks, contracts, and severance agreements.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws.
Qualifications :
- Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Alabama.
- 0-3 years of experience in labor and employment law.
