A well-established manufacturer is searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities
- Take new product ideas and product support projects from concept to production by managing engineering project activities and priorities while coordinating with sales, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality.
- Use engineering principles, proprietary design tools, and internal design criteria to develop new product concepts or enhanced features for existing products
- Create 3-D models, assemblies, and 2-D prints as needed to validate concepts, detail designs, and communicate design intent.
- Specify and supervise product validation testing required to validate new concepts and designs including documenting test results of standardized tests.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline
- 3-8 years' experience working with mechanical systems
- Experience with CAD systems, preferably Solid Works
- Preferred experience with basic manufacturing technologies and processes
- Familiar with engineering standards and work processes
