Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily and commercial projects.
- Analyze project plans and collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers.
- Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Present project budgets and cost estimates to clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and identify cost factors.
- Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software.
- Provide value engineering options to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- 5 years of estimating experience in multifamily and commercial construction.
- Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and costs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
