We are working with a leading feed manufacturer, that is looking for a dedicated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the operations of their feed facility near Rapid City, SD . As a Plant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of the plant, while leading a team of 20 skilled employees.
Plant Manager Key Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day operations of the feed plant, ensuring optimal production output and quality standards.
- Supervise and support a team of approximately 20 employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee production scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments, including sales, distribution, and logistics.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and promote career development.
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and work to achieve cost control objectives.
