What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Director position at Gpac?
Gpac is currently working with a food manufacturer in northwestern Kentucky who is searching for a Quality Assurance Director .

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Implement and maintain QC policies, procedures, and directives to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government expectations, providing feedback and follow-up for corrective actions.
- Lead the plant's SQF certification program.
- Perform customer audits and annual SQF audits.
- Develop and maintain the HACCP plan and train plant personnel on quality programs.
- Communicate with USDA regarding preoperational or operational inspections.
- Develop and maintain quality control systems / programs, including Pest Control, Self-Inspection, Supplier Management, Safety, Microbiological Testing, and Defense.
- Conduct pre-shipment reviews, CCPs, validation studies, and report deficiencies for GMPs, HACCP, and SSOPs.
- Perform microbiological tests on finished products, environmental, and direct food contact surfaces.
