Responsibilities encompass all aspects of metrology, including CMM programming, laser scanning, first article inspections (FAI), customer-specific documentation, and material analysis in an ISO 9001 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and operate Zeiss CMM using Calypso software.
- Program and utilize Faro Arm with Geomagic, Control X, and SolidWorks.
- Perform inspections on parts, fixtures, and products to verify compliance with specifications.
- Generate reports, including FAIs, ballooned drawings, SCAR, PPAPs, and other quality documentation as required.
- Support the sales team by assisting with project estimates and planning.
- Willingness to work extended hours on critical projects when necessary.
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve quality issues.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and Y14.5M standards.
- Proficiency in Calypso, Geomagic, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Capable of handling multiple projects effectively.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work under ITAR & CUI regulations and pass all necesaary check's and screen's.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- Work takes place in a metrology lab, additive manufacturing lab, and machine shop environments.
- Associate degree or 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing quality control role.
- Industry-recognized quality certifications are a plus.
- Lean Six Sigma training is beneficial.
- CMM and/or laser scanning certifications are preferred.

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
