Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and related documents; prepare title/survey objection letters and summaries.
- Coordinate closings, including preparation of closing checklists, escrow instructions, and closing binders.
- Draft and review real estate documents such as deeds, easements, affidavits, UCC filings, and lease abstracts.
- Conduct due diligence, including corporate/entity searches and lien and judgment searches.
- Communicate with clients, title companies, surveyors, lenders, and government agencies as needed.
- Maintain and organize transaction files and assist with post-closing documentation.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate practices and terminology.
- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting title and survey documents.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with document management systems is a plus.
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required.

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
