What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restoration Construction PM/Estimator position at Gpac?
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with a LEADING Restoration Construction Company in California. They have a diverse portfolio and a vast variety of projects. They are in need of an experienced Commercial Restoration PM / Estimator.
The PM / Estimator calculates preliminary job budgets and prepares formal job bids through interpreting blueprints, performing take-offs and estimating job costs. As well as overseeing jobsites and leading their team to a safe and efficient job completion.
Commercial Restoration Construction PM / Estimator Primary Responsibilities include :
- Reviewing project proposals to determine budget, time frames, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.
- Outlining work plan and assigning duties, responsibilities, scope authority to project staff; awarding subcontracts and issuing purchase orders
- Arranging all permits, drawings, and submittals required; negotiating and executing all change orders.
- Preparing project reports for management, clients, and / or others.
- Conferring with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve any problems, modifying schedules or plans as required.
- Preparing and maintaining job costs on a daily / weekly basis and reviewing with project personnel.
- Monitoring project closeout : final quantities, final change orders, and final releases from agreements.
- Obtaining letter of acceptance.
