Senior Project Manager Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage ground-up construction projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including pre-construction planning, resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to quality standards.
- Proactively manage project risks, solve problems, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure all safety protocols and compliance regulations are strictly followed on-site.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and ensure the successful handoff of projects to operations.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial construction.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and foster collaboration among teams.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
