What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Examiner position at Gpac?
A well-respected client of mine in the area is seeking an experienced Title Examiner .
This organization is looking to add an experienced full time Title Examiner to join our growing title department. You will work with the entire title team ensuring each customer has an amazing and refreshing experience throughout their real estate transactions
What you do :
- Communicating with all parties to a transaction
- Examining title search
- Preparing commitments and title reports
- Understanding of title insurance underwriting guidelines
- Assist with clearance tasks associated with all liens / judgments
- Checking all documents for accuracy
- Assist other departments with processing requirements as requested
- Residential and Commercial properties in Iowa
- Verify ALTA surveys, recorded documents, such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and plat and map books, to determine ownership and legal restrictions and to verify legal description of property
- Verification of all final policies associated with current projects as well as archived closed sites
- Draft and execution of Title Objection letters to perform due diligence prior to closing.
