One of our top clientsis seeking a passionate and experienced Wellness Director to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enriching the lives of our residents by creating and overseeing a comprehensive wellness program.
Responsibilities :
Develop, implement, and manage a dynamic wellness program that caters to the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs of our residents.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, activities, therapy) to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.Conduct resident assessments to identify individual needs and preferences.Oversee a team of wellness professionals and volunteers.Organize and lead a variety of engaging activities, including fitness classes, social events, educational workshops, and creative pursuits.Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in senior wellness.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Gerontology, Recreation Therapy, Public Health, or RN License (Master's degree preferred).Minimum 3 years of experience working in a senior living community or related setting.Proven experience in developing and implementing wellness programs for older adults.Strong understanding of senior wellness principles and best practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff members.Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for enriching the lives of seniors.Benefits :
