JOB DESCRIPTION:
GPI is hiring a Records Management Specialist I to assist a government customer with the administration of its Records Management program. The ideal candidate will have Records Management experience and has a current Secret clearance.
This is a full-time in-person position in Arlington, VA.
FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with the management of the agency office's Records Management Program
- Assist with the search for requested records
- Assist ONR Codes to complete Records Management file plans
- Review records for correct Standard Subject Identification Codes (SSIC) and make corrects as needed
- Assist with the appraisal, dispositioning and transfer of official records to Federal Records Centers and/or National Archives
- Prepare and pack record boxes for archiving
- Scan documents as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years experience in Records Management or
Associate's Degree and one year experience in Records Management
Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED.
- Information gathering: Ability to find information and identify essential information
- Customer service: Ability to work with clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Organizing: Translate information from subject matter experts, maintaining all aspects of a request throughout the process lifecycle
- Process Management: Excellent time management skills, able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision to balance multiple complex projects
- Work experience in a government preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
