Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Marketing Director will collaborate with project directors and managers to develop marketing and proposal strategies.
- Oversee the proposal process, coordinating with team members and other offices.
- Organize presentation rehearsals and support facilitators and coaches.
- Manage supplier diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Review procurement activity services for relevant information.
- Conduct quality control reviews to ensure proposals meet expectations.
- Develop and maintain staff resumes, project profiles, and marketing materials.
- Create and update brochures, advertisements, and social media content.
- Enhance style guidelines and graphical presentation.
- Participate in local events, industry meetings, and community activities to promote the company brand.
- Manage multiple marketing activities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Assist with regional business development efforts, including research and competitor analysis.
- Oversee pursuit tracking and assist with proposal efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in A/E firm marketing.
- Working knowledge of procurement processes for public clients in the New York metropolitan area.
- Experience developing and reviewing proposal submissions for AEC firms.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
- Experience in graphic design to enhance proposals and marketing materials.
- Flexible attitude and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Calm under deadline pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with Deltek Vision/VantagePoint (a plus).
