What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual (Spanish/English) Working Supervisor – Janitorial Services position at GR Select Services?
We are seeking a dependable, bilingual Working Supervisor to lead our janitorial team at a large industrial facility in Holland, MI. The ideal candidate will speak both English and Spanish, have strong leadership skills, and be hands-on in their approach to team success and customer satisfaction.
This role is primarily on the 1st shift, but the supervisor must be available to train and supervise across all three shifts when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train, support, and oversee janitorial team members across all shifts
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate with the client regularly
- Ensure cleaning standards are consistently met or exceeded
- Order, manage, and organize cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist in hands-on cleaning tasks as needed
- Monitor performance and morale to keep the team focused, safe, and thriving
- Step in and adjust schedules or coverage when needed
Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
- Previous supervisory experience in janitorial, facilities, or industrial cleaning (preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and make decisions under pressure
- Available for flexible scheduling, including occasional nights or weekends
- This job require walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 25 lbs).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
