Family Support Coordinator Job Description/Skills : Quarterly in-home visits (virtual until restrictions are lifted) Planning, scheduling, coordinating and writing assessments Researching, accessing, and linking to other community resources Maintain approved caseload size Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel during the day to outlying parishes Must be able to multi-task Must have a positive and professional caring attitude toward others Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must demonstrate excellent time management and coordination abilities Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel) Must be a team player Must demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skill
Education:
- Bachelors Degree- Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or a related Human Service degree from an accredited college or university
- One year of paid experience in the human-service-related field providing direct services or case management services desired'
