Campus Pastor

Primary Purpose of Position: The Campus Pastor is the “face” of the church location, representing Grace Family Church in the Lutz community. The Campus Pastor (CP) leads with integrity and carries out the vision of Grace in all they do, maintaining alignment with biblical principles while shepherding and growing the congregation and church staff.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Requires full knowledge of Grace Family Church’s ministries, processes, and policies in order to effectively create a campus-specific culture that is consistent with Grace’s vision and mission
• Coordinate and lead the weekend services by working with the Lead Pastor and/or Executive Pastors to ensure consistent messages are being broadcast at all campus locations
• Create a strong culture of “one church,” yet reinforce the individual campus identity
• Lead and empower the campus staff according to the missions and values of Grace Family Church
• Conducts religious worship and prayer time weekly and as needed
• Pray over, care for, and train subordinates and congregants regularly
• Provide spiritual oversight for the campus as well as spiritual and leadership development for campus staff
• Oversee the ministries and worship services at the campus
• Oversee and administer small group ministries to remain consistent with the message from all campuses
• Lead and manage weekly assimilation strategy and processes at the campus location
• Manage and coordinate all activities related to baptisms on campus
• Direct the budget, spending, and giving records for campus and congregation
• Develop and shepherd Leadership Team(s) by meeting on a consistent basis, praying for them, and providing spiritual leadership for the campus
• Control the online presence and strategy (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and all local campus marketing (signs, billboards, banners, mailers, etc.)
• Attend and lead any staff meetings, conferences, and retreats as initiated by the Lead Pastor and/or Executive Pastor(s)
• Lead and carry out pastoral duties such as marriages, funerals, hospital visits, etc. as needed, and in coordination with the Care Team
• Receive and respond to feedback and opportunities for growth through observations
• Manage the campus staff to run the day-to-day operations of the campus
• Create a culture of clear and effective communication, collaboration, development, and accountability
• Develop a winning campus-central relationship
• Other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience in the field of ministry, theology, etc.
• Previous Bible coursework or applicable ministry experience required
• Passion for the Bible and the communication of spiritual truths
• Possess a passion for children and families
• Proficient in meeting task deadlines and timelines
• Display leadership qualities, ability to delegate and empower others; previous leadership roles preferred
• High-level networking and relational strengths with an ability to execute; maintain long-term relationships
• Ability to think strategically, having excellent judgment, strategic comprehension and grace while working in an ever-changing environment
• Excellent at time management; competent under pressure and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Superb communication skills; both written and verbal
• Perform all duties, conduct and live by the Grace Family's Honor Code and Statement of Faith
• Regular attendance at one of Grace Family Church’s multiple locations
• Continuation of education and spiritual growth tracks required, to include Freedom Course
• Ability to counsel and shepherd; Commitment to maintain the appropriate level of confidentiality on behalf of the church and the congregants

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
