Grace Farms is a center for culture and collaboration in New Canaan, Connecticut. We bring together people across sectors to explore nature, arts, justice, community, and faith at the SANAA-designed River building, situated on 80 acres of natural landscapes. Our humanitarian work to end modern slavery and foster more grace and peace in our local and global communities includes leading the Design for Freedom movement to eliminate forced labor in the building materials supply chain.
The Role:
We are seeking a talented Presentation and Production Designer with a keen eye for brand consistency and excellence in slide design. The ideal candidate will bring both creative expertise and technical precision to deliver high-quality visual materials across multiple formats. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creating compelling presentations, managing print production, and ensuring seamless brand alignment. It offers a dynamic blend of creativity and technical execution, providing the opportunity to craft impactful visual communications that strengthen our brand presence.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PowerPoint templates, slides, and complete presentations customized for various audiences and purposes.
- Maintain and organize a Master Deck Library to streamline access and reuse of presentation assets.
- Prepare files for print production, ensuring proper bleeds, crop marks, and color specifications.
- Oversee quality control for all printed and digital materials to maintain brand standards.
- Resize, color-correct, and format images to ensure consistency across all deliverables.
- Collaborate with print vendors, obtaining quotes, confirming production timelines, and delivering final files.
- Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure brand consistency and excellence across all materials.
- Apply principles of typography, spacing, scale, and visual presentation to strength and enhance brand identity and engagement
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven working experience in print production and design.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and persuasive visual content.
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to apply them consistently
- Experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and/or Adobe Create Suite is required.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct inconsistencies.
- In-depth knowledge of file formats, color management, and print production processes.
- Experience with various print techniques, including offset and digital printing.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve design or production challenges independently.
- Proven team player with ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
- Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated collaborative team player who can seek information from other departments, translate and share that information effectively and in a timely manner.
- Self-starter who excels with deadline-oriented milestones and can shift with changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Highest level of integrity with demonstrable record of handling confidential information with discretion.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in print production and design within a corporate or non-for-profit marketing/communication team.
Physical requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, navigate the site to various locations, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
