The Director will oversee operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while fostering an environment of excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall operations, ensuring alignment with our mission and vision.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee documentation review processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance case management practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, promoting professional development.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform organizational strategies.
- Foster relationships with hospitals and healthcare systems to support collaborative efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the healthcare sector.
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Certification & Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Three to four years of experience in Surgical Services & Prior Management Experience
- Experience in case management and documentation review is essential.
- Familiarity with assisted living, acute care, and home care services is a plus.
- Must have an understanding of, and experience in central processing, sterilization and decontamination procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic initiatives that drive organizational success.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- A background in physiology or related fields is beneficial but not required.
