We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic seasonal food truck team member to join us during the busy food truck season. As a part of our team, you'll serve delicious meals in a customer-focused environment. This role offers a flexible schedule and is perfect for someone who enjoys working with food, interacting with customers, and being part of a fun, dynamic setting. Cooking experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and close down the food truck at various locations
- Prepare, cook, and serve menu items to customers with a high standard of quality and presentation
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and handling cash or card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and cooking equipment
- Assist with inventory checks and restocking of food and supplies
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Availability from March through October, with a flexible schedule to work approximately 80 dates during the season
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a confined space
- Cooking experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation to travel to various event locations
Schedule
- The schedule is provided two weeks in advance, with varied shifts based on event bookings.
- March through October
- Events times can range from 10 am to 7 pm start times
