As a Construction Materials Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of construction materials to and from our facilities. This includes operating a forklift to load and unload materials, organizing materials in the yard, and inventorying shipments upon arrival.
One of the key aspects of this role is preparing materials for upcoming projects. This involves receiving and checking in material shipments from vendors, advising supervisors of low levels of materials, and preparing future orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety and mutual respect within the workplace.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and experience with forklifts. A valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract are also a must. One year of warehouse experience and forklift certification are highly preferred.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to load and unload construction materials to and from flatbed trucks.
- Organize construction materials in the yard.
- Inventory construction materials when shipment arrives.
- Take loads of materials to local shipping vendor. Pick up loads of materials from shipping vendor.
- Prepare, fabricate, and pack materials for upcoming projects.
- Receive and check in material shipments from vendors / suppliers. Advises supervisor of low levels of construction materials.
- Prepare future orders. Up to and including the pulling of the necessary construction materials as needed for upcoming projects.
- Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
- Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.
- Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds.
- Must have valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.
- One year warehouse experience preferred. Forklift certified preferred.
