Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management and be familiar with various construction management software tools. Your ability to coordinate tasks, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders will be crucial to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including contracts, change orders, and reports.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned with client expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize construction management and accounting software such as CoConstruct, airtable, dext, and fast fields.
- Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Review blueprints and schematics to assist in project planning and execution.
- Answer phones, deliver mail, and perform other office duties including:
- Mail coordination
- Cleaning the office
- Filing documents
- Ordering office supplies
- Scheduling meetings
- Managing office calendars
- Assist Human Resources with follow-up tasks and other administrative duties.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and techniques.
- Strong understanding of construction management software tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively or be willing to learn
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
