What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Assistant position at Grace Place Ministry, Inc.?
NON-NEGOTIABLE Schedule:
This position is for the 14 hours a week as follows:
- Mondays: 5pm-8pm
- Thursdays: 5pm-8pm
- Saturdays: 9am-1pm
- Sundays: 9am-1pm
*****Must have High School Diploma, a clean background, and 5 year clean driving record!*****
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Transport families to all necessary places during shifts on a weekly basis including but not limited to childcare, employment, health related appointments, and other necessary errands (in 15 passenger van); keep scheduling for transportation documented
- Observe all program scheduling for guest mothers and children and volunteers, along with all program-related household operations, requirements, and needs. This includes helping volunteers with the children while the moms are in programs.
- Complete all delegated functions relevant to transportation, household operations, and program related responsibilities. This includes organizing supplies and keeping up with basic household upkeep.
- Keep communication about transportation open with staff team by updating Google Calendar immediately with transportation plans
- Update transportation logs, monitor van service needs, and complete weekly inspections
- Deep clean office weekly
- Monitor and resolve any facility issues (examples are changing lightbulbs and keeping up with repair needs)
There will be routine operational duties that are added when transportation schedule is less demanding due to the needs of families in our care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
