Grace Reliant's growing Human Resources team is looking to invite a part-time or full-time Tech Support Specialist to help support the organization's operations by managing digital documentation systems and maintaining everyday technology functionality. We exist to help people live more complete and independent lives. Through our many services we provide care, support, and mentorship to elderly and disabled residents in Missouri.
This position blends hands-on IT support with responsibility for secure and efficient document digitization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of helping staff navigate both digital records and technology best practices.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Digitize, organize, and maintain company records by scanning physical documents and uploading them into secure, structured digital storage systems.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and quality control of all digital documentation.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues with staff devices, software, and network connections across the organization.
- Monitor compliance with company-wide technology use policies, including device security, data protection, and appropriate use.
- Maintain a catalog of all organizational hardware, software, and technology systems.
- Develop and refine digital filing systems to improve access, efficiency, and long-term storage.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects involving technology improvements, systems rollouts, or digital infrastructure.
- Research and recommend new technologies or digital tools that enhance organizational performance or security.
- Provide guidance and informal training to staff on tech-related best practices, including secure password management, proper use of company devices, and handling of sensitive data.
- Document and report IT incidents, access approvals, and training completions in alignment with policy and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skilled at translating high-level tech concepts and digital processes into simple, practical instructions for a variety of learners.
- Experience in IT support, document digitization, or digital systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and protect confidential information.
- Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting and cybersecurity practices.
