- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for electrical safety products, including Permanent Electrical Safety Devices (PESDs) and Wearable Voltage Detector products.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Define product requirements, specifications, and features based on customer feedback and market analysis.
- Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage the product lifecycle, including product launches, updates, and end-of-life planning.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and marketing materials.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners to drive product innovation and market growth.
- Collaborate with OEM partners to identify and develop new product opportunities and enhancements.
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Five years of proven experience in product management, preferably in the electrical safety or industrial automation industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety programs, standards, and devices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- 10 or more years of technical product management experience.
- Experience with OEM partner management and negotiation.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with product development processes and methodologies.
