Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, IN, seeks a full-time Transportation Coordinator to schedule, organize, and transport Health Care and Assisted Living residents to appointments.  Grace Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) whose mission is to enable older adults to live to their fullest potential in the security of a Christian Community.

Transportation Coordinator Responsibilities:

1. Schedule appointments as requested by nursing staff.
2. Notify family, unit clerk, and nursing staff of appointments.
3. Transport residents to medical appointments on time. 
4. Stay with the resident at appointments if necessary.
5. Prepare and hand in the transportation log on the 25^th of each month. 
6. Help maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of vehicles and report any problems to proper authorities. 
7. Deliver labs to the hospital as needed.
8. Maintain equipment areas.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Transportation Coordinator

Transportation Coordinator Qualifications:

1. Have or obtain a CDL/Chauffeur license before beginning employment.
2. Ability to be flexible with your schedule. 
3. Knowledgeable and caring of residents and families.
4. Ability to organize work schedules efficiently and independently. 
5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Excellent driving record.

Transportation Coordinator Benefits:

• Base pay from $15-$18 per hour.
