Position Overview
The Recruiting Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the growth of Graceful Aging Home Care by sourcing, screening, and onboarding exceptional caregivers who align with our mission and values. This role focuses on building strong talent pipelines and maintaining a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective strategies to recruit caregivers through online job boards, social media, community outreach, and partnerships with training programs.
- Post job openings, monitor applications, and manage candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including completing pre-employment paperwork, verifying credentials, and coordinating orientation and training.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline to meet current and future staffing needs.
- Represent the company at job fairs, community events, and career days to promote employment opportunities.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize hiring strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the healthcare, home care, or senior care industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and online recruitment tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience recruiting for caregiving or healthcare roles.
- Knowledge of the home care industry and caregiver qualifications.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
