Personal Injury Attorney
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Salary: Competitive compensation based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:30pm (On-site)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, and settlement agreements
- Represent clients in court, at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
- Manage and organize caseloads, schedules, and client files
- Develop and implement litigation strategies
- Conduct legal research and analyze conflicts in legal matters
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
Qualifications:
- Florida Bar membership (required)
- In-depth knowledge of civil procedure and torts
- Proven litigation experience with a track record of success
- Ability to draft and review legal documents with attention to detail
- Ability to perform research and communicate findings effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Exposure to the insurance industry (preferred)
