Full Time Maintenance Tech Needed

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and schematics.
• Fabricate and weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications.
• Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and address any facility-related concerns.
• Provide leadership in maintenance projects, guiding less experienced technicians as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Proficiency in welding techniques and fabrication processes.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, including logic controllers.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
• Leadership qualities to mentor junior staff and promote teamwork within the maintenance department.
