Description
Summary of Position
This position performs various testing, repair, fabrication, assembly and maintenance activities. Duties may also include safety and quality control inspections, operating automated machinery; various power / hand tools in compliance with company policy and established safety procedures.
Essential Functions
- Steaming / cleaning fishing and rental tools
- Set-up, program operator, and prep all assigned equipment and perform full operational checks making all necessary adjustments.
- Rebuild equipment using standard rebuild process.
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine necessary corrective action.
- Fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products, such as industrial machine or equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate parts.
- Inspect all assembly parts and report defective material or questionable component conditions to management.
- Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, electrical output and input at specific operating temperature to analyze parts performance.
- Fabricate special fixtures needed to perform task completion.
- May be required to weld, cut, paint, and / or grind various raw building materials.
- Assist with special projects and cover for multiple positions when staffing levels are low / production or operating demands are accelerated.
- Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
