The Manager of Digital Customer Experience (CX) and Ecommerce Analytics will lead the strategic analysis, reporting and optimization of digital customer journeys. This person will need to excel in both storytelling and technical analysis. In this role, the Manager of Digital CX and Ecommerce Analytics will be the bridge between complex data sets and actionable insights, helping to shape our strategy and drive impactful business decisions. This role will also be responsible for digging deep into the data and piecing together multiple sources while developing robust reporting solutions that help us scale efficiently.
What You Will Do At Graco
Analytics and Reporting
- Lead and manage all ecommerce, website, demand and lead generation analytics to identify key trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop KPI definitions and present performance updates with insights related to traffic and ecommerce conversions to key stakeholders and leadership team on set cadences.
- Proactively mine data to identify insights into underlying drivers of current trends and patterns
- Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to develop comprehensive and standardized dashboards to present key metrics and trends in a clear, engaging manner that supports strategic decision-making.
- Support ad-hoc querying and analyses to understand customer behavior, investigate emerging trends and diagnose data discrepancies.
- Act as the subject matter expert for tag management and A/B testing, to implement and manage complex setups across multiple campaigns while maintaining an elevated level of accuracy in measurement.
Tools and Data Management
- Deliver demand, lead, and web tracking capabilities across all digital platforms, providing detailed measurement of performance, data collection, and insights, to stakeholders.
- Identify and act to correct data gaps due to either tagging inconsistencies or incomplete MarTech solutions.
- Translates business requirements for reporting technology into actionable demand, lead and web analytics reports and insights capabilities.
- Create and share reporting requirements with partner teams tasked with building and maintaining data solutions.
- Act as a data privacy advocate, by working with appropriate parties in legal, to maintaining robust cookie management protocols to ensure that all tracking and data collection practices adhere to government regulations.
- In partnership with the internal development team, own the roadmap, testing, and further customization of the company’s proprietary data layer to deliver improved tracking and ensure needs are being addressed appropriately.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Manage analytics request intake process and refinement and communicates to stakeholders on status and time to completion.
- Collaborate with web, ecommerce, digital marketing, product information, and creative teams to define data needs and develop strategies to improve site performance.
- Partner with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics tools and data accuracy.
Team Leadership and Financial Management
- Lead, mentor, manage, and staff an analytics team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and facilitating professional growth opportunities.
- Establish, manage, and be accountable for the analytics budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
What You Will Bring To Graco
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science Business, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
- 7 years of experience in a web analytics role, with emphasis on the extensive use of tagging across ecommerce platforms (GA4 (Google Analytics 4) & Adobe Analytics)
- Excellent leadership skills; 2 years of team leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with data visualization with tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Understand search engine optimization (SEO) and paid media and how they impact overall website KPIs.
- Designing A/B/multivariate tests and personalization experiments (Adobe Target) and analyzing subsequent results.
- Proficient with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud and Pardot.
- Working with consumer-level data for analysis, reporting, or marketing.
- Knowledge of Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistical modeling techniques and data mining concepts is desirable.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
- Strong ability to extract, manipulate, visualize, and model large datasets.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to stitch, calibrate and QA multiple data sources.
- Ability to identify patterns, correlations, and trends from data that can provide insights into business operations, customer behavior, or market dynamics.
- A motivated self-starter with willingness and ability to stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in data analysis, machine learning, and business intelligence.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
