Landscaper/Laborer

Grade A Landscaping in Norton, MA is seeking an experienced and motivated landscape laborer who works well in a team environment and has a strong worth ethic, to join our team!

OVERVIEW:

We have (3) full-time maintenance positions open for the 2025 - 2026 seasons. Machine operating experience is a huge bonus but not required! Pay will be dependent on prior experience and skill level. We are closed on Sunday’s and most holidays. We offer competitive compensation, 40 - 50 hr weeks, and overtime pay. Needing individuals who possess a strong work ethic, are willing to learn, and take instructions clearly. Reliable attendance is required!

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST have a DOT health card (or the ability to obtain one) and a valid driver's license.
• Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Machine operating and mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
• STRONG time management skills/reliability as we work by deadlines and weather permitting.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist multiple crew members in the following but not limited to; mowing with commercial equipment, weeding, trimming, pruning, bed care, brush work, mulching, edging, spring/fall clean ups, laying sod, planting, masonry, digging, raking, machine work etc.
• Keep company trucks organized/clean. Unloading/ loading materials for the next day.
• Operating ride on mowers, weed wackers, shrub trimmers and blowers etc.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, time spent, and specific tasks completed.
• Ability to collaborate with team members efficiently to complete projects on time and according to specifications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This position requires extended periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.
• You must have the ability to move/lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• You will occasionally operate power tools and/or motor vehicles.
• The work environment may occasionally result in exposure to direct sun, high/low temperatures and rain.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
