I have an immediate need for an in-home Class C Water System Operator License tutor in Bryan next to the corner of E 29th Street and Esther Blvd. The student is an adult needing assistance with test preparation for the Class C Water System Operator License exam in Texas.
The student is preparing to take the exam for his state license as a Class C Water System Operator in Texas. He is seeking a tutor to help him gain a deeper understanding of the material and ensure he is fully prepared for the exam. He is looking for a tutor who has experience with this exam.
The student's goal is to pass the exam and further his career.
The student wants 1 hour sessions 3 times a week. He would prefer to meet Monday & Thursday between 5pm-8pm as well as Friday between 8am-11am.
LICENSE DESCRIPTION:
A Class C water system operator license in Texas allows the holder to perform process control duties for groundwater production and distribution. The license is issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED
Two years of work experience, including at least one year of hands-on experience
At least half of the work experience must be in the field for which the license is requested
Completion of core training courses, including:
Basic Waterworks Operation
Surface Water Production I
Surface Water Production II
Practice tests and resources
The American Water College offers a free Class C Groundwater Practice Test
There are also videos on YouTube that can help prepare for the state license exam
Job Requirements
- Tutor must be willing to work in person, face to face at the student's home in Bryan next to the corner of E 29th Street and Esther Blvd.
- Tutor must have experience with this exam.
- Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 3 times a week. The student would prefer to meet Monday & Thursday between 5pm-8pm as well as Friday between 8am-11am.
- Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
