I have an immediate need for an in-person 6th grade Latin tutor to meet at the Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library at 9200 Bluebonnet Road in Baton Rouge. The student is a 6th grader attending Great Hearts Charter School in Harveston. She needs to work with a tutor for help with her Latin class.
The student has been struggling with her Latin class, especially when it comes to her test taking. Her final is coming up in about 4 weeks and she is having trouble retaining important information.
The goals are for the student to work with the tutor for help with the remaining homework assignments in her class as well as to help her study for her final coming up next month.
The student wants 1 hour sessions 3 times a week, between 4pm-7pm, any day Tuesday & Thursday through Sunday. (Any day but Monday and Wednesday.)
Job Requirements
- Tutor must be willing to work in-person, face to face at the Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library at 9200 Bluebonnet Road in Baton Rouge.
- Tutor must be fluent in Latin.
- Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions 3 times a week, between 4pm-7pm, any day Tuesday & Thursday through Sunday. (Any day but Monday and Wednesday.)
- Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
- Due to insurance requirements applicants must not be a minor.
