What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Production Intern position at Gradient Experience?
We’re on the search for a Video & Studios Production Intern to join Gradient. This role is responsible for assisting various personnel across the department. As such, it requires someone who considers themselves a jack-of-all-trades. This is a growth position that offers the opportunity to get hands-on experience in various event, video & studio environments.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting Gradient producers with various pre-production tasks, such as vendor research, pre-production documentation creation, etc.
- Assisting in the management of Gradient equipment & gear rental system. This includes but is not limited to logging new equipment, adding new users, manage expendables, etc.
- Assisting with miscellaneous content tasks, such as, but not limited to, archiving footage, organizing hard drives, and assisting remote editors with their assignments.
- Coordinating shipping logistics for remote shoots.
- Maintaining studio and control room equipment and assisting staff with various broadcast engineering tasks.
- Assisting with gear packing, load-out, and load-in activities for various Gradient productions.
- Assisting production personnel onsite with setting up technical equipment on-site.
- Filling various positions on shoots on an as-needed basis (camera operator, teleprompter operator, audio operator, etc.).
- Working with your direct manager to carve our time for learning, mentee, and various training opportunities.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Has either professional or educational experience in a video/content production environments. Live video experience is nice to have but is not required.
- Would describe themselves as a “gearhead" and loves working with tech & gear in various forms.
- Has a valid driver’s license, can lift at least 50 pounds, and is comfortable working at heights.
- Ability to travel, work early mornings, late nights, and weekends when necessary as we produce projects and events across the country
- Experienced with Google's Suite of tools, specifically Slides and Sheets.
