Position Summary:
GradPro is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Tutor to support adult learners in education and technology-related subjects. This role involves in-person tutoring for students enrolled in online courses, helping them navigate online platforms, understand course content, and develop essential technical skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Individual and Group Tutoring
• Provide personalized in-person tutoring sessions for adult learners to support IT and tech course content.
• Facilitate small group discussions to deepen understanding and foster collaborative learning.
• Online Learning Assistance
• Help students navigate online course materials and tools.
• Assist learners in accessing resources, participating in online discussions, and submitting assignments on time.
• Progress Monitoring
• Track and document student progress, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
• Provide individualized feedback and action plans to boost student success.
• Report on progress and challenges to program coordinators.
• Technology Support
• Support students in using online platforms and digital tools effectively.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues to ensure seamless learning experiences.
• Develop Study and Time Management Skills
• Assist learners in creating effective study schedules to meet course deadlines.
• Provide practical study tips and exam preparation strategies to enhance independent learning.
• Encourage and Motivate
• Create a supportive, motivating learning environment for adult students.
• Encourage persistence and confidence, helping students overcome barriers to their success.
• Classroom and Learning Environment Management
• Supervise students during in-person sessions, ensuring they stay on task with online coursework.
• Maintain an environment that is organized, productive, and free of unnecessary distractions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, IT, or related fields.
• Previous experience tutoring or teaching adults, especially in IT or technical subjects.
• Comfort and familiarity with online learning tools and platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse learning needs.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with digital learning platforms such as Google Classroom, Moodle, or Zoom.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for common software and hardware issues.
• An empathetic, patient, and motivational approach towards adult learners.
