Position Summary :
The Senior Business & Clinical Project Manager is skilled in hospital-based business, finance, and operations. S / he collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and manage business plans and operational budgets for the service lines. S / he must possess excellent analytical, listening, and verbal communication skills to engage with members and leaders in a matrix organization. S / he must have experience navigating barriers in a complex organization to complete projects.
The role requires the ability to act independently as needed, provide leadership in delivering results for the service lines, manage limited resources, demonstrate business acumen and a solutions-based mindset, rapidly assimilate and apply new information or knowledge, and demonstrate creativity and ingenuity in developing solutions to difficult delivery problems. This role reports directly to the Vice President of the service lines.
Job Responsibilities
Manages the business office operations and budgets for the service lines. Provides ongoing operational data analysis, reporting, and coordination of new project intake, definition of scope, kick-off, and timely completion.
- Collaborates with the service line teams and leaders to understand the operational details of each program to provide budgetary, analytical, and financial support.
- Supports and aids senior leaders in project prioritization and resource needs / deployment.
- Manages the budgets, progress, and outcomes of complex programs and projects in coordination with the service line team / s.
- Provides periodic reporting and feedback on the progress of programs and contracts.
- Creates comprehensive documentation and manages all project communications to ensure regular updates.
- Collaborates with the SL leaders and stakeholders and leads project management for new and existing programs.
- Balances competing priorities and resource demands among projects / programs.
- Demonstrates skill in dealing with uncertainty.
- Coordinates and manages contracts with various vendors and teams.
- Works independently with a clear sense of ownership to manage budgets, analytics, and projects with minimum guidance.
- Coordinates multiple demands effectively to accomplish goals with limited resources and sensitivity to the organizational culture.
