POSITION SUMMARY
The main purpose of Supply Chain Specialist is to organize the supply of Graepel products to our end customers. The position requires continual support of the GNA Supply Chain Network, collaborating with Graepel staff as well as subcontractors, and communicating with customers to fulfill orders on time.

Essential Functions Statements
- Collaborate with customers through their proprietary software programs for shipments and deliveries when applicable.
- Interact with customers over the phone and via email providing quality customer service.
- Collaborate within Graepel group to assure smooth transition of product to the end customer.
- Notify customers when freight will be delayed and determine their immediate needs to avoid line shutdowns.
- Review shipping due dates and prepare shipments to assure on time delivery.
- Prepare shipments by printing delivery notes, labels, and bill of lading documents and coordinate the pickup with a carrier.
- Input new orders and send order confirmations to the end customer when applicable.
- Provide administrative support printing correspondence, scanning documents, filing, saving files on the server etc.
- Assist with inventory processes and procedures.
- Communicate with co-workers, clients, and subcontractors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Work a regular schedule determined by supervisory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Associate’s Degree in Business or similar field preferred.
Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain in a customer-facing environment preferred.
- Ability to establish relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontracted manufacturers and familiarity with pricing strategies and negotiation tactics
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Cooperative attitude
- Excellent organizational skills
Computer Skills:
- Experience using MS Office Suite and Business Management Software
