Graff Chevrolet is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Certified Autobody Technician to join our growing team. Please Note: State of Michigan certification in mechanical related auto body repair AND unitized auto body repair is a requirement for this position. Proof of certification is required. Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality autobody repairs, including mechanical and unitized body repairs, to manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose and assess vehicle damage to determine the appropriate repair procedures.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to repair and replace damaged parts.
- Ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: Must be State of Michigan certified in mechanical related auto body repair AND unitized auto body repair. Proof of certification is required.
- Experience in autobody repair preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- I-CAR certification is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
