Position Overview
As our Manager, Project Management, you'll oversee technology implementations from start to finish, lead a small team of project managers, work hand-in-hand with talented technical teams, and ensure our clients achieve their technology goals. NOTE – this is a hybrid role with three days per week required in office. This is subject to change to meet company needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple concurrent IT service implementations
- Configure and deploy project management tools to track deliverables, resources, and milestones
- Conduct daily check-ins with technical teams to review progress and address blockers
- Perform resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple client engagements
Client Management
- Lead discovery sessions with clients to document requirements and scope of work
- Host weekly status meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and KPIs
- Create and present project status reports highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Manage client expectations and negotiate timeline/scope adjustments when necessary
Service Delivery Oversight
- Coordinate with service desk teams to ensure smooth transition from project to operational support
- Monitor SLA compliance during implementation phases
- Establish and document standard operating procedures for new service offerings
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide project management team members on project management best practices
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, operations, and client success teams
- Conduct project retrospectives to identify process improvements and lessons learned
Financial Management
- Track project budgets and resource utilization
- Generate monthly project profitability reports
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality
Required Skills:
- Bacherlor's Degree in a related field
- 5 years of IT project management experience, preferably in managed services
- Previous supervisory experience
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Proven track record managing complex technical implementations
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management principles
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
