JOB TITLE:Business Development Assistant
REPORTS TO: Strategic Growth Director
What you’ll do:
- Assist in creating project proposal documents with a team by utilizing design programs, gathering required information, and translating it into an aesthetically pleasing and understandable format for the clients’ needs
- Track client opportunities and contacts through CRM software.
- Plan, create, and manage content to be used at presentations, company meetings, and for social media
- Coordinate 3G Companies-hosted client events such as golf tournaments and client dinners
- Assist with the planning and execution of sales events and trade shows.
- Coordinate employee attendance and logistics of community events and charity galas
- Serve as liaison with marketing/sales vendors including photographers, videographers, writers, marketing material vendors, etc.
- Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage calendar
- Attend events on behalf of 3G Companies to network with industry partners, current and potential clients, and design partners
- Monitor and update 3G Companies website
- All other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, sales, or related field.
- Required – 2 years of experience in communications or business
- Preferred – Video, Photography, and editing experience
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Ability to craft company messages consistent with business goals and desired company image.
- Capable of converting complex technical concepts from project managers and engineers into clear, accessible messages for a non-technical audience.
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and independently manage daily workload in accordance with deadlines.
- Extremely organized with high attention to detail Ability and willingness to learn and understand construction industry idiosyncrasies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite and Acrobat, InDesign
- Capable of learning CRM software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to pass physical capacity profile
- Ability to take and pass OSHA 30 certification
- Ability and willingness to visit and navigate active construction sites to obtain content
- Potential for overnights – 5% or less
- Evening events (4:30 p.m. or later) multiple times per month
