JOB TITLE: HR Assistant
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Finance
PURPOSE:The purpose of this job to support the day-to-day functions of the Human Resource department.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department
- Maintains the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of HR files and records through BambooHR system
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees
- Assists with benefit enrollment processes and leave paperwork
- Represent the company at recruiting events
- Arrange pre-employment testing, background and references screenings.
- Provide support for intern and development programs
- Works collaboratively as a member of the HR team and continually innovates by improving HR processes
- Support performance management processes, including annual performance reviews
- Organize HR Wellness program
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and golf tournament
- Other duties as assigned
- A two-year degree in a business-related field, preferably with a focus on Business Management or Human Resources, or equivalent experience, is required. A four-year degree or comparable applicable business experience is strongly preferred.
- High attention to detail and Ability to comply with all work-related deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build team morale and promote culture and core values
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism.
- Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass physical capacity profile
- Ability to take and pass OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to travel to other regional offices as assigned
