A Day in the Life: Provide administrative support to the HR team. Assist with the entire employee life cycle process. Serve as a champion for our core values by working collaboratively with the HR team. 

JOB TITLE: HR Assistant

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Finance

PURPOSE:The purpose of this job to support the day-to-day functions of the Human Resource department.

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide administrative support to the HR department
• Maintains the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of HR files and records through BambooHR system
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees
• Assists with benefit enrollment processes and leave paperwork
• Represent the company at recruiting events
• Arrange pre-employment testing, background and references screenings. 
• Provide support for intern and development programs
• Works collaboratively as a member of the HR team and continually innovates by improving HR processes
• Support performance management processes, including annual performance reviews
• Organize HR Wellness program
• Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, and golf tournament
• Other duties as assigned

 JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

• A two-year degree in a business-related field, preferably with a focus on Business Management or Human Resources, or equivalent experience, is required. A four-year degree or comparable applicable business experience is strongly preferred.
• High attention to detail and Ability to comply with all work-related deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build team morale and promote culture and core values
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism.
• Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass physical capacity profile
• Ability to take and pass OSHA 30 certification 
• Ability to travel to other regional offices as assigned
