What are the responsibilities and job description for the SERVER - BREAKFAST position at Graham Hotel Systems?
Relish restaurant, located inside the Kensington Hotel, is looking for an energetic individual to run our AM shift! We have an immediate opening for Tuesday - Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm. $12.00 per hour plus gratuity, averaging approximately $50 per day, plus full benefits package for full time employees, including hotel discounts, free meal daily, company paid Aflac plan, and generous 401k match.
Requirements:
Serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely and manner, resulting in guest satisfaction. Also, prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests.
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality.
Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks.
Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest.
Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and insure vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys.
Lock up and store all beverage, food and other equipment, deposit cash drops and secure bank.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Must have the ability to communicate in English.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Must have basic knowledge of food & beverage preparation including various alcoholic beverages.
Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.
Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.
Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
Ability to operate keyboard and point of sale procedures, pre-check orders and close out checks.
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and customers.
