About the Role
The Human Resources Manager plays a key role in the success of our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support the business goals and objectives of Graham Packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to employment, safety, and environmental matters.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Recruit, select, and retain top talent to support the growth and success of the business.
- Manage the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between departments and teams.
- Prepare and present reports on HR metrics and analytics.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A strong understanding of employment law and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions.
