What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate/Assistant Professor of Marketing position at Grambling State University?
The College of Business is seeking an addition to the Department of Marketing in the capacity of Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing. The successful candidate will teach, advise, guide and inspire students to learn by planning, conducting, and evaluating instructional activities geared to student learning and achieving collegiate standards among other roles.
Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will he expected to:
- Guide and inspire students to learn by planning, conducting, and evaluating instructional activities geared to student learning characteristics and designed to achieve collegiate standards.
- Have for each course a course outline, well-stated behavioral objectives, enabling activities and performance measures
- Be available to students for counseling (in conference)
- Serve on university, college and departmental committees
- Provide required academic advisement to students
- Engage in research and scholarly activities
- Perform other elative duties as assigned by the Department Head and the Dean
- An earned Doctorate in Business with a major in Marketing
- Evidence of grant writing, research, and teaching at the college/university level is a plus.
