Commercial Installer

Summary: We are seeking a Operations Supervisor for our Residential and Commercial Window and Door company. We serve Granbury, TX and surrounding cities.

Commercial Installer Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 5-9 glaziers. Build a culture of efficiency and accountability.
• Manage the shop and storeroom for cleanliness and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate measurements, precise production, and minimize rework and reorders. Ensure friendly, timely, and accurate communication with clients and co-workers.
• Ensure timely team completion of paperwork, time worked, and computer entry.
• Perform estimates for straightforward glazing projects.
• Build and repair a wide range of commercial doors and door hardware, including but not limited to narrow, medium and wide stile doors.
• Installs locks, panic devices, closures, hinges, glass and various other hardware products on new and existing doors.
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
• May train, assign and oversee work of others and ensure work is complete and built to order specifications.

Commercial Installers/ Qualifications/Skills:

• Previous experience in fabricating and building commercial doors and frames.
• Apply and understand mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, etc.

· Ability to communicate effectively by phone, in person, or through written formats.

• Ability to work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner.
• Able to work independently and within a team

Education

· 5 years of on-the-job training experience (Preferred)

· High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years door installation in commercial environment.

Bilingual (Spanish) a Plus

Schedule: Mon-Fri (7:30am-4pm)
